about us

sixth street was born on the “streets” of santa monica with an approach to marketing and top of mind awareness all their own.  living in the world of modern and simplistic, they collaborate with clients to turn their ideas into realized visions.

with a focus on top-of-mind awareness, we work with companies to upgrade and update their digital + physical footprints in an ever evolving landscape.

web design + development, brand exploration, email newsletters, SEO, SEM, social media, custom publications, public relations and more, our aim is to bring together a team of experts to consult, execute and live your brand.

we are not a set it and forget it type company.  while others in the market use the gym model with subscription services to keep a client paying, we have monthly meetings and check-ins with each and every client, ensuring that the work we’re doing is moving the needle in whatever way they want.

we are a family both internally and externally.  our clients are extensions of ourselves and everything that they put out into the world is an extension of our own work, so we work tirelessly to express brands in the way they want to be expressed.  individuality, honesty, empathy and integrity are at the heart of our business and we plan to live a long and fruitful life with family and friends who trust and enjoy working with us.

Josh Heisler | Managing Partner

As the creative lead for Sixth Street, Josh has had a robust background in design, giving him a foundation to deliver a clear strategy with sometimes (ok, many times) ridiculous ideas.  Josh has been a jack-of-all-arts for many years.  He believes that an eclectic background brings eclectic ideas.  He is driven by projects that inspire him and loves the ability to work on things he’s both deeply knowledgeable in alongside those that terrify him the most.

Over the last 15 years, Josh has let inspiration lead him.  He’s done Shakespeare in the park and Voiceover for brands like Enterprise, HP and Lennox.  He was the Artistic Director of a theater company for over 10 years and created an innovative pet brand that sold through shops like Petco.  He has worked in the media landscape through work in the newspaper industry (where he met Rob) and gutted a 70s RV and rebuilt from scratch.  He’s built websites for corporations to entrepreneurs, made money and lost it, but always with the same goal, tell stories, be honest and follow your dreams.

He has a deep love of Los Angeles sports.  This comes in somewhere close to his love of his dog, Jaxon, (his favorite video of him can be seen here), his wife and his new son…the order of which is unimportant.
